Chase Culler grew up in Mount Airy, NC as the eldest of four siblings. He studied writing at Brown and Georgetown Universities and earned his MFA from UNC-Wilmington. He has held fellowships with novelists Allan Gurganus and Clyde Edgerton, and his former advisor Bekki Lee is his favorite writer. Now he is a reader, writer, lecturer, and bookseller. He lives and writes in Massachusetts where he teaches writing at Boston University.
