Nan Cohen

Nan Cohen is the author of two books of poetry, Rope Bridge and Unfinished City, and a new chapbook, Thousand-Year-Old Words (Glass Lyre Press, 2021). Her essays and poems have appeared in The New Republic, Slate, Poetry Ireland Review, Journal of the American Medical Association, Poetry Northwest, The Curator, and other magazines. The recipient of a Wallace Stegner Fellowship, a Rona Jaffe Writer’s Award, and a Literature Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, she lives in Los Angeles and co-directs the poetry programs of the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference.
